Beeville Police Department Community Camera Partnership

Community Camera Partnership Help Keep Beeville Safe

Program Overview

The Beeville Police Department Community Camera Partnership is a voluntary community safety initiative designed to help investigators quickly identify potential video evidence following crimes, traffic crashes, missing persons cases, or other significant incidents.

Residents and business owners with video surveillance systems can voluntarily provide their address and indicate whether cameras are present. If an incident occurs nearby, the Beeville Police Department may contact participants to request assistance in reviewing or voluntarily sharing footage.

Participation does not provide the police department access to live camera feeds, remote viewing, or private surveillance systems.

Program Goals

Do you have security cameras at your home or business?

  • Improve criminal investigations by identifying possible video evidence faster
  • Reduce time spent conducting door-to-door canvas operations
  • Strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the community
  • Assist in locating missing persons or suspect vehicles
  • Support traffic crash and public safety investigations
  • Increase community involvement in neighborhood safety

If a crime, traffic crash, suspicious activity, or emergency occurs near your property, officers may contact you to ask whether your cameras captured anything helpful.
